About The Position
Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is looking for an experienced, driven and winning-attitude professional to drive the definition and development of High Power/High Voltage products for Automotive, Server Power, and Industrial markets as a Senior Applications Engineer. Responsibilities include defining analog IC and module products, modeling EMI, developing and debugging reference circuits and IC prototype, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hand-on experience in automotive switch mode power supply designs and EMI modeling
- Self-motivated and can-do attitude
- Fluent communication skills in English
- BSEE or higher required
Nice To Haves
- Mandarin is a plus
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Prior experience in supporting or defining high power IC or modeling high power IC related EMI is preferred
Responsibilities
- Defining analog IC and module products in high power, isolated, and wideband gap solutions
- Modeling EMI and design EMI reduction techniques and solutions
- Working with customer and field application team to provide support on total high power sub-system solutions
- Writing datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products
- Providing application support and technical training
