About The Position

This role involves enabling company products to achieve desired performances on customer reference designs by working with switches for RF various applications. The engineer will support tier 1 customers and reference design partners during their design phases, including after mass-production support. They will also collaborate with internal design engineers during RFIC development by providing system-level feedback, and perform testing and debugging of product evaluation boards and customer reference design boards. Additionally, the role requires providing documentation and marketing tools to bring QORVO products to market, creating and updating product documentation with RF parameters, schematics, tunings, and application information, and participating in new standards and custom RFIC product development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering
• 3 years of work experience
• 1 year of experience, an internship, or 9 credit hours to involve experience or knowledge of understanding of WiFi, IoT and Bluetooth protocols and frequency bands of operation
• 1 year of experience, an internship, or 9 credit hours to involve experience or knowledge of knowledge in RF circuit design, filter design, impedance matching, PCB board schematic and knowledge layout tools, and communication theory including basic signal processing and modulation theory
• 1 year of experience, an internship, or 9 credit hours to involve experience or knowledge of handling the management of projects
• 6 months of experience, an internship, or 6 credit hours to involve experience or knowledge in RF systems design

Responsibilities

• Enable company’s products to achieve the desired performances on the customer reference designs.
• Support tier 1 customers & reference design partners during their design phases including after mass-production supports.
• Work with internal design engineers during RFIC development by providing system level feedbacks.
• Perform testing and debugging of product evaluation boards and customer reference design boards.
• Provide documentations and marketing tools necessary to bring QORVO products into the market.
• Create and update product documentations to include RF parameters, schematics, tunings, and application information.
• Participate with new standards and custom RFIC product development efforts.
