This role assists with the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications, ensuring that vital manufacturing systems are optimized and consistently operate smoothly. The analyst will research, design, and develop software systems to support production, quality, and shipping activities, and will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing Management Information Systems applications. The position involves scheduling and attending meetings with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping users to develop software requirements, and providing training and support for custom applications to manufacturing personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field.
Four (4) years of application development experience.
One (1) year of experience acquired at a position in the steel manufacturing industry.
Experience in Oracle Database SQL/PLSQL
Experience in Oracle Forms & Reports
Experience in Oracle Apex
Experience in Java Scripts & jQuery
Experience in HTML/CSS
Experience in RESTful Web Services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
Experience with DBMS Job Scheduler
Experience with GIT Hub/ SVN (Version control tools)
Experience with SSRS

Responsibilities

Assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
Ensure that vital manufacturing systems are optimized and that they consistently operate smoothly.
Research, design and develop software systems in support of the production, quality, and shipping activities for products.
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing Management Information Systems applications as required.
Performing other software development duties as necessary.
Schedule and attend meetings with Operation, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping users to develop software requirements.
Provide training and support for custom applications to manufacturing personnel.
