About The Position

The Application Developer is responsible for program enhancements and bug fixes for pepConnect, pep’s proprietary web application that acts as a “one stop shop” for successful promotion execution. Will also provide support in pepConnect database management as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years previous information technology and applications experience.
• Degree in information technology or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio ASP.NET/C#, MS LINQ to SQL Framework 4.8, .Net 8+ Entity Framework/EF Core JavaScript/JQuery, CSS, HTML MS Transact-SQL & SQL Server GIT version control Azure DevOps
• Ability to Unit Test and Document effectively
• Demonstrated communication and organization skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to mentor, grow and work harmoniously as part of a larger team
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Nice To Haves

• Telerik/Kendo UI Experience
• Integrate AI into applications using Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain good coding practices
• Maintain documentation on all code changes
• Provide input on technology issues
• Design, build, test and implement the software code required by pep
• Design the logic that delivers the requested functionality
• Provide avenue for future enhancements
• Be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Other duties assigned as needed
