The Opportunity
Join Anaplan's Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE) as a Sr. Application Analyst (Anaplan Model Builder) and help build next-generation planning applications powering global Supply Chain operations. In this hands-on Individual Contributor role, you will design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-scale Anaplan models across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, and Logistics. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing planning solutions leveraging the latest Anaplan capabilities, including Polaris, Workflow, and AI.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of enterprise application development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building and application development.
• Experience delivering enterprise Supply Chain planning solutions.
• Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Solution Architect certification is a plus).
• Strong expertise in: Multi-dimensional model design, Data Hub architecture, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), UX Page Builder, Workflow, Polaris, CloudWorks, Model optimization and performance tuning, Data integrations and APIs
• Hands-on experience implementing one or more of the following: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning & Optimization, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP), Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Procurement Planning, Distribution & Logistics Planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Anaplan models supporting end-to-end Supply Chain planning processes.
• Develop modules, lists, line items, actions, imports, exports, processes, dashboards, UX pages, and reports following Anaplan best practices.
• Build reusable model components with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements into robust Anaplan solutions through close collaboration with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Supply Chain SMEs.
• Participate in solution design sessions, model reviews, testing, and production deployments.
• Optimize model performance, sparsity, calculation efficiency, and workspace utilization.
• Apply PLANS methodology and Anaplan modeling best practices to ensure enterprise-grade applications.
• Support integrations with enterprise systems using CloudWorks, APIs, Informatica, MuleSoft, or other integration platforms.
• Configure data imports, exports, automated processes, and Workflow capabilities.
• Enhance existing applications using Polaris, Workflow, AI capabilities, and new platform features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams.
• Contribute technical documentation, implementation assets, and reusable model-building standards.
