Sr. Analytics Engineer

Pelago•New York City, NY

About The Position

Pelago is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to help shape how data is structured and defined across the company. The role is part of a data team that turns complex healthcare and product data into clean, reliable, well-documented models used for reporting, experimentation, AI initiatives, and company decision-making. It is a business intelligence role with an analytics engineering toolkit, reporting to the Director of Analytics and partnering with Commercial, Marketing, and Health Services teams. The Analytics Engineer will own dbt and semantic layers, build scalable and reusable data assets, and ensure data consistency, quality, and usability for dashboards, experimentation, analysts, and AI use cases. The role requires translating business needs and ambiguous questions into well-modeled data and dashboards, governing metrics, supporting campaign measurement and experimentation, and identifying data issues before they affect the business. Pelago describes its mission as providing personalized substance use and mental health care supported by technology and clinical expertise. The position is full-time. The US base pay range is $165,000–$185,000, with total compensation also including an incentive bonus program, stock options, comprehensive benefits, and applicable incentive pay. Pelago is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
