This role provides first and second-level technical support to internal users via phone, email, chat, or in-person. The position also offers on-site support to four WinCraft facilities in Winona, encompassing desk-side support, printer troubleshooting, running network lines, physically repairing or replacing tech hardware, and traveling between sites. The analyst will independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues through systematic root cause analysis, without reliance on SOPs or step-by-step runbooks. Responsibilities include documenting all support interactions, thoroughly investigating issues before escalation, managing user accounts and permissions across Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Admin Center, and writing/executing PowerShell scripts for automation and diagnostics. The role involves troubleshooting VPN, networking, mailbox, shared drive, and application access issues, assisting with hardware setup and maintenance, collaborating with other IT teams, and providing training to peers and users. The analyst will take ownership of issues from start to resolution and stay current with emerging technologies.
