Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • 1–2 years of experience in finance or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of Word and Outlook
  • Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A quick learner with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • experience in real estate, valuations, risk/financial analysis, capital markets, or workouts preferred
  • Loan processing, analysis, or origination experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow statements
  • Assist underwriters in building analytical models, credit packages, and underwriting narratives
  • Conduct financial and credit reviews for structured loan applications
  • Coordinate with credit, portfolio, operations, and product specialists to support underwriting, closing, and transition to portfolio management
  • Order and review third-party reports such as appraisals, collateral reviews, background checks, and accounting due diligence
  • Participate in on-site due diligence, including property inspections
  • Track loan applications, manage loan files, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Gather market data for supply and demand analysis to support deal evaluations
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of structured finance transactions
