Requirements

3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Scottsdale, Arizona: ($76,500.00 - $109,450.00 Annually), Chicago, Illinois: ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually), Austin, Texas: ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually), Omaha, Nebraska: ($76,500.00 - $109,450.00 Annually). Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with PayPal's overall business objectives and procurement strategies.
Conduct comprehensive category and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance improvement.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels, ensuring optimal value for PayPal.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality performance, compliance with contractual obligations, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop sourcing strategies that support organizational goals.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities in the procurement landscape.
Evaluate and select vendors based on thorough research, assessment, and alignment with PayPal's strategic goals and quality standards.
Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Analyze spend data and procurement metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to senior management.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
