About The Position

The Senior Analyst in Settlements provides problem solving, reporting, project, and training support to the team. Drawing on a foundational level of knowledge of all team processes, the Senior Analyst supports upper management on multiple and possibly overlapping projects. This role uses strong analytical and time management skills to multitask with multiple operational processes and multiple data input platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in wealth management operations or a data analytics role within the wealth management industry
• Experience with Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortability presenting to leadership

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Series 7 or other FINRA licenses
• Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Communicating complex issues both in writing and verbally to management, internal and external business partners, and clients
• Overseeing existing processes and mitigating risk against future firm impact
• Being proactive in order to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements
• Recognizing issues, problems, or opportunities, and making creative recommendations on how to solve business challenges
• Generating reports and tracking trend numbers
• Supporting audit requirements and participate in audit meetings and evaluations
• Leading project testing for new technology and implementation
• Updating and maintaining department controls and procedures
