About The Position

The Sr. Analyst SEO is responsible for driving organic growth and visibility to assigned product categories, site segments, and experiences on homedepot.com. The Sr. Analyst will analyze website performance and follow Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to identify and implement optimization strategies to ensure homedepot.com ranks competitively for targeted keywords. This role will require coordination with internal business teams, engineering partners, third party service providers, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with enterprise-level SEO, preferably in an e-commerce environment
  • Proven track record with successfully advocating for SEO, prioritizing work in a highly-matrixed environment, and measuring the impact of optimizations
  • Deep experience with SEO and industry-accepted best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify insights
  • Experience with enterprise-level SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Deepcrawl, Brightedge, Moz, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Driving organic growth and visibility to assigned product categories, site segments, and experiences on homedepot.com.
  • Analyzing website performance and following Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to identify and implement optimization strategies.
  • Coordinating with internal business teams, engineering partners, third party service providers, and vendors.
  • Meeting with key stakeholders and business partners to align on opportunities and risks, strategic priorities, and to share category/site level insights.
  • Representing SEO for assigned categories and working with partners to ensure SEO metrics are understood and prioritized into overall workstreams.
  • Staying informed on the latest industry changes with SEO and working to incorporate new strategies into existing processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to plan, prioritize, and implement SEO optimizations.
  • Tracking the performance of assigned categories/functions, measuring the impact of SEO optimization projects, and providing data-driven insights for continued improvement.
  • Monitoring keyword/site performance and conducting research to identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and content visibility.
