The Planning and Production Control Planner will perform a variety of business tasks in support of Raytheon programs. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. This individual will manage multiple assemblies across multiple Value Streams in a fast-pace environment. Management of assemblies and the associated tasks listed below are necessary in order to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the program’s cost and schedule requirements. This position will also support the accurate and compliant management of processes and records related to Government Furnished Material (GFM). This position is an onsite role in our Tucson, AZ facility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with special program access applications or other relevant ERP systems
  • Experience within Supply Chain Production Control and/or Production scheduling.
  • Active and transferable secret clearance level required at time of application
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government and Depot type processes.
  • Experience with MS Excel to include formula application and pivot tables.
  • Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system.
  • Experience working with MS Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet Depot and production/customer requirements
  • Responsible to evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems
  • Responsible for the material management and tracking of GFM hardware from receipt of the material to shipment of end items
  • Coordinate and support inventory research and reconciliation.
  • Interface with internal customers.
  • Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
  • Receipt and issue of Depot hardware as well as managing inventory for Depot Repair.
  • Processing of GFM Scrap via Plant Clearance Process
