Responsible for building, maintaining, and modifying centralized scheduling templates for all scheduling providers. Ensure all approved template changes follow change management procedures and protocols. Work closely with Ambulatory leadership team and Cooper partners to ensure master templates are published/modified on a rolling basis as planned. Reschedule patient appointments as indicated by the Reschedule List Report. Ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette, and exceptional customer service. Interact with all levels of management and staff. Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to all clients. Inform actionable recommendations related to streamlining scheduling operations and meeting Cooper Health patient access goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ patient appointment scheduling and insurance verification experience in a complex academic medical office.
  • Proven experience exhibiting exceptional customer service, strong interpersonal communication, and detail – oriented skills required.
  • Successful completion of Cooper issued Epic Cadence certification required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building/managing provider schedules in Flowcast or EPIC strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
