About The Position

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr Analyst, Operations Support to design and deliver efficient technical solutions to further CVS Health’s systems engineering and infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology and Management, or a related field and six months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Six months of experience in Java, Python, or Node.js
Six months of experience in Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles
Six months of experience in REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
Six months of experience in Cassandra, or Teradata
Six months of experience in JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
Six months of experience in Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Six months of experience in SQL, MySQL or NoSQL
Six months of experience in PowerBI and Tableau
Six months of experience in Domain support for healthcare or retail organization
Six months of experience in Relational database concepts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software developers to select appropriate design solutions for data management platform interoperability.
Analyze information to recommend and install updated systems and infrastructure.
Confer with data processing and systems requirements to design and implement systems and infrastructure.
Determine systems performance standards and evaluate factors relating to backup infrastructure, hardware, and security.
Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs through research, test or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
Configure all aspects of the backup infrastructure and use knowledge of Ansible, Salt, and Terraform to automate infrastructure solutions.
Responsible for backup and recovery methodologies and application of these methodologies including retention, reclamation, and disaster recovery.
Manage, configure and maintain multi-PB multitier environments.
Responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the multiple environments.
Respond to, diagnose and remediate issues in dynamic environments.
Participate in capacity planning and performance discussions.
Development and execution of disaster recovery exercises.
Responsible for maintaining current knowledge transfer across multiple infrastructure disciplines.
