Sr. Analyst, Gas Engineering Gas Transmission Integrity Management
About The Position
The Sr. Analyst is responsible for maintaining and analyzing all Gas Transmission Integrity Management (TIMP) data and records to develop trends to mitigate risks to the gas transmission system. This role involves maintaining and operating the TIMP specific risk model, and creating, maintaining, and analyzing gas transmission integrity performance measures. The Sr. Analyst will participate in process improvements and other special projects aimed at reducing risks to the gas transmission system, and will compile information and reports to ensure strict compliance with Regulatory requirements. The position requires applying knowledge of inspection and mapping products (e.g., Gas Central, ESRI ArcMap, eGIS), preventative and mitigative measure related data, various engineering records, and engineering principles to answer inquiries and support sound business decisions. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will perform geospatial queries using both out-of-the-box Geographic Information Systems (GIS) products like ESRI ArcMap and other company-developed GIS applications. This role is crucial for enhancing the company's Transmission Integrity Management program by providing analytics and information that facilitate informed decisions regarding process improvements, risk mitigation, and overall Transmission system integrity.
Requirements
- Knowledge of inspection and mapping products (ex: Gas Central, ESRI ArcMap, eGIS)
- Knowledge of preventative and mitigative measure related data
- Knowledge of various engineering records
- Knowledge of engineering principals
- Ability to perform geospatial queries using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) products such as ESRI ArcMap and other company developed GIS applications
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and analyzing all Gas Transmission Integrity Management (TIMP) data and records to develop trends to mitigate risks to the gas transmission system
- Maintaining and operating the TIMP specific risk model
- Creating, maintaining and analyzing gas transmission integrity performance measures (TIMP program, preventative and mitigative measures, etc.)
- Participating in process improvements and other special projects to reduce risks to the gas transmission system
- Compiling information/reports to assure strict compliance with Regulatory requirements
- Applying knowledge of inspection and mapping products (ex: Gas Central, ESRI ArcMap, eGIS), preventative and mitigative measure related data, various engineering records, and engineering principals to answer inquires and help make sound business decisions
