About The Position

At Nestlé USA, we are dedicated to delighting consumers with our trusted brands. As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be instrumental in preparing, analyzing, and reporting Nestlé USA's consolidated financial results. This role supports local management, Nestlé Group, and external reporting requirements, adhering to IFRS and US GAAP standards. You will provide expert guidance on financial reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate and compliant reporting, and ensure consistent application of Nestlé's financial policies and systems. This position is also focused on driving continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
External audit or reporting experience required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting/Audit/Finance.
Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP).

Nice To Haves

CPA or equivalent designation is preferred.
SAP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyzes and reports consolidated financial results (monthly, quarterly, and annually) for local management and Nestlé Group management, working closely with operating divisions, corporate functional groups, and worldwide headquarters.
Conducts quarterly Balance Sheet reviews, including analytical review and inquiries with management, to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Nestlé Accounting Standards.
Leads and manages projects related to financial reporting/accounting operations initiatives, such as working capital analysis, impairment testing, and integration of business acquisitions/disposals.
Provides financial reporting support and guidance to stakeholders.
Gathers and interprets financial information effectively, transforming data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issues.
Responds to inquiries from various functional areas and prepares/assists in the preparation of required reports for management.
Provides and supports information requests for interim and year-end consolidated financial statements for entities included in external report filings, including the preparation of financial statement footnotes.
Participates in continuous improvement activities using Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodology, such as performing process walkthroughs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes through automation or transfer to a shared service center.
