This role provides accounting support for the development and maintenance of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions, aiming to enhance the efficiency of various accounting processes including management, project, general ledger, subsidiary, cash, intercompany, and financial accounting. Additionally, it involves supporting the improved utilization of existing accounting software like Oracle Cloud, EPM, Microsoft PowerBI, and Workiva, preparing training materials, and collaborating with IT support teams to resolve system issues. A key responsibility includes assisting with the monitoring, planning, testing, and coordination of Oracle Cloud updates from a user perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Information Systems
  • 6 years in Accounting and Business Information Systems
  • Very strong in use of Oracle Cloud, Oracle EPM, Microsoft PowerBI or similar systems.
  • Solid accounting experience/knowledge
  • Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Systems development experience.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of unused functionality of Oracle Cloud and Oracle EPM (such as: Oracle FCCS movements, EPM Narrative Reporting for Balance Sheet accounts).
  • Evaluate Oracle Cloud, EPM, Microsoft Power BI system configurations to identify areas of improvement and enhance system functionality: collating the functional design document and engaging with the development team to assist with coordination of functionality, testing and deployment requirements (such as Oracle Cloud Cash Auto reconciliation).
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the Accounting Team which may result in RPA initiatives or AI agents: collating the functional design document and engaging with the development team to assist with coordination of functionality, testing and deployment requirements.
  • Compile training resources (e.g., Quick Reference Guide [QRG]) to update and optimize accounting processes or help users become proficient in using various software (Oracle, EPM, Microsoft Power BI, SmartView).
  • Draft user alerts and guidance regarding new initiatives and assist with posting them to SharePoint.
  • Perform Subledger to General Ledger Reconciliations.
  • Develop standard reports to aid accounting processes.
  • Review Oracle Cloud service tickets from an accounting user perspective and assist with prioritization with IT Support.
  • Provide end-user support for the Oracle EPM ARCS module.
  • Assist with monitoring, planning, testing, and communication of periodic Oracle Cloud updates.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as requested.
