Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Senior Analyst, Distribution Quality supports quality and compliance activities for the Memphis Logistics Center distribution and business unit support activities to help ensure processes remain aligned with applicable regulatory, company, customer, and quality management system requirements. The position is responsible for supporting end-to-end Quality and execution project plans for core site setup initiatives, including Quality projects, demand consolidation, supply chain and 3PL parameters, new site set up and thresholds, production planning, and raw materials analysis, in preparation for final delivery. Assesses purchase order management and associated supplier and vendor relationships to provide key support for new product development and launch, collaborating closely with procurement and sourcing to integrate those initiatives into the supply chain end-to-end delivery solution. Defines critical roles for core team members and corresponding supply chain partners to ensure that demand, supply, and capacity plans, ICQA’s, Quality Agreements, Supplier Contracts, Site set up and qualification and processes align with the company’s supply chain standards and protocol. Establishes processes and procedures for handling data integrity and accuracy related to systems databases, including enterprise resource planning and master data management systems, to ensure that systems meet the customer’s specific needs and requirements for supply chain delivery excellence. Constructs supply chain solution recommendations to raise to management relative to process improvements and ideas for ongoing quality checks and balances at all team member levels. Implements customer-specific supply chain delivery solutions and provides analysis and recommendations for final tailoring and refining to ensure delivery excellence. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.(s). This role provides day-to-day quality oversight for distribution, warehouse, transportation, and third-party logistics role is expected to demonstrate sound judgment, strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and consistent application of Johnson & Johnson values, policies, procedures, and leadership expectations in daily work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Compliance within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare).
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and applicable regulatory standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and related global requirements.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, analytical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and partner management skills required.
  • Proficiency (oral & written) in the English Language is required.
  • Candidates must already have authorization to work in the country of employment. Immigration sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or providing oversight to third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Experience working with Quality Agreements and site setup requirements.
  • Experience with temperature-controlled transportation, cold chain processes, distribution operations, or 3PL oversight.
  • Experience with nonconformance investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, complaints, audit support, documentation review, training compliance, and quality metrics preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, ASQ certification, Lead audit training, or other quality-related certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required; experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, Minitab, Microsoft Project, or quality management platforms.
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audit readiness activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain project plans for customer and supplier setup initiatives.
  • Support demand consolidation, supply chain parameters, production planning, thresholds, and raw material analysis.
  • Assess purchase order management, supplier/vendor relationships, and 3PL requirements to support new product development and launch activities.
  • Develop ICQA, Quality Agreements, supplier and 3PL contracts, site setup, and qualification processes.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and engagement expectations for core team members and supply chain partners.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, and 3PL partners to ensure aligned and compliant delivery solutions.
  • Establish and maintain processes that support data integrity across ERP, master data management, and related systems.
  • Recommend process improvements, quality checks, and control enhancements to management.
  • Implement customer-specific supply chain delivery solutions and refine processes to support delivery excellence.
  • Supply project experience and recommendations to support strategic objectives and successful project completion.
  • Apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions, decisions, and collaboration.
