About The Position

This position is responsible for leading the implementation of new or updating of existing data systems, databases, data models and/or data visualization tools in order to create easily accessible, accurate and secure data that can be utilized for one or more of the business teams within Revenue Operations. In order to achieve this, the Data Management Senior Analysts will lead the coordination of multiple stakeholders including IT, external vendors and business teammates in combination with advanced technical skills & expert knowledge of DaVita’s data & data systems.

Requirements

  • Advanced technical skills (ex. Data modeling in Tableau, SQL, Oracle, Netezza)
  • Expert knowledge of DaVita’s data & data systems
  • Ability to build data systems, models or assist in building databases
  • Ability to programmatically manipulate tables in data repositories through automated processes
  • High-level understanding of all ROPS data and source systems (Reggie, Nautilus, RMT, PPS, etc.) and data repositories
  • Ability to identify new data sources and recommend incorporation into existing systems
  • Ability to solve complex problems by breaking down drivers and forming a robust approach
  • Ability to lead training sessions and office hours
  • Ability to understand implications of overall projects on broader business objectives
  • Business lead for User Acceptance testing
  • Ability to guide teammates in UAT and test case creation
  • Ability to develop requirements by collaborating with business partners and translating needs
  • Ability to lead working sessions and facilitate interactions between business teams and/or IT
  • Ability to direct and execute on next steps to progress projects

Responsibilities

  • Builds data systems, models or assists in the building of databases through advanced technical skills (ex. Data modeling in Tableau, SQL, Oracle, Netezza) and recommends ways to build most efficiently.
  • Continuously learns new technical capabilities & recommends how they can be leveraged.
  • Programmatically manipulates tables in data repositories through automated processes.
  • Develops a high-level understanding of all ROPS data and the source systems where data exists (Reggie, Nautilus, RMT, PPS, etc) and data repositories to which it flows.
  • Identifies new data sources, recommends how to incorporate into existing systems & how it can be leveraged by various business teams.
  • Solves complex problems by breaking down drivers & forming a robust approach to solving.
  • Leads training sessions & office hours to help end users adopt best practices with visualization tool usage.
  • Understands implications of overall projects on broader business objectives and other business lanes.
  • Business lead for User Acceptance testing; guides other teammates in UAT & test case creation; identifies ways to prevent further system issues through automation.
  • Develops requirements by collaborating with business partners & translating needs across multiple businesses or data tables.
  • Effectively leads working sessions & facilitates interactions between business teams and/or IT (ex. Requirement review sessions, project status meetings & post-deployment feedback sessions).
  • Directs & executes on next steps to progress overall project(s); identifies & recommends new opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Maintains up to date documentation of data/process dependencies across multiple business lanes or systems; recommends ways to improve data documentation.
  • Prioritizes time according to value & business need.
  • Builds collaborative relationships across all stakeholders.
  • Provides direction and helps with others’ work; viewed as a mentor and expert across the team.
