About The Position

The Sr Analyst, Credit Management – Billing – Master Data – Cash Application is a cross-functional Accounts Receivable professional responsible for supporting accurate, timely, and controlled execution across customer master data, credit management, billing, and cash application. This role maintains customer and receivable records, assesses credit risk, supports invoicing and complex credit memo activity, applies and reconciles incoming cash, and partners across the business to resolve account issues. The Sr Analyst, Credit Management – Billing – Master Data – Cash Application delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience with a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience; strong experience across billing, cash application, credit, and/or customer master data is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting concepts including accounts receivable, cash application, debit/credit memos, journal entries, account reconciliations, and the downstream impact of general ledger activity.
Experience in a B2B credit environment, including credit reporting, financial statement review, credit limit management, and customer account analysis.
Strong Excel skills with advanced proficiency including pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365, Dynamics SL, and Oracle/Oracle Fusion required.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with strong data-entry, analytical, logical-thinking, and organizational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of activity across multiple systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, management, internal partners, external customers, banks, and auditors.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritize urgent requests, meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and identify and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

Partner effectively with Finance, Sales, Order Processing, AR/Credit, and other internal teams to align on shared goals and drive consistent execution across Accounts Receivable functions.
Cross-train across AR activities and serve as a reliable resource for colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting continuity across credit, billing, master data, and cash application workflows.
Collaborate with banking and lockbox partners, external customers, and auditors to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
Conduct B2B customer outreach regarding financial statements, payment performance, and credit standing, delivering solutions that strengthen customer relationships and improve payment outcomes.
Provide invoice copies, reconcile customer accounts, document communications, and negotiate disputes through resolution to support a positive and reliable customer experience.
Maintain organized departmental records and respond promptly to audit and customer inquiries, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation at all times.
Support collection activity as needed to protect cash flow while maintaining respectful, professional engagement with customers throughout the resolution process.
Identify and execute process improvements across credit, billing, customer master data, and cash application activities while maintaining accuracy and meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
Support ERP and business integration activities, including Oracle Fusion transition and integration of new business acquisitions, contributing to scalable and future-ready AR operations.
Research and resolve complex account, billing, payment, and reconciliation issues independently, escalating material risks to management with appropriate context and recommendations.
Evaluate customer credit risk using credit reporting, financial statements, sales volume, and payment history to develop data-informed recommendations that balance growth with liability management.
Post, balance, and reconcile bank transactions, credit card payments, and incoming cash across multiple business areas, meeting daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual balancing requirements.
Process billing activity including credits and rebills, calculate and post complex credit memos, validate billing details, and ensure revenue, cost, and account activity are accurately reflected in the ERP system.
Maintain customer master records including new account and ship-to setup, account changes, customer chain consolidation, and tax exemption documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
Adhere to established credit and AR policies, including applicable bankruptcy and credit-law requirements, and perform effectively under pressure during month-end close and other peak periods.
Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance.
