About The Position

As a member of the Commercial Bank Strategy Team, the Senior Analyst will work closely with the members of the team and Business Leaders across the Commercial Bank to evaluate and execute strategic business initiatives. They will develop a deep understanding of our markets, customer needs, product functionality, industry trends, and our competitive landscape to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in related field of study (i.e., Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other applicable fields)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, finance, consulting, or similar relevant experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience supporting strategic initiatives, including problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Strategic Planning: Develop business strategies, frameworks, recommendations, and execution plans aligned to organizational goals.
  • Business Analysis: Evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, and assess strategic outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze internal and external data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Market Intelligence: Research market trends, customer needs, industry developments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Executive Communication: Present complex analyses and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Presentation Development: Create concise, impactful PowerPoint presentations and supporting documentation for leadership updates.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple strategic initiatives, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain collaborative relationships across business leaders, partners, and support teams.
  • Problem Solving: Structure ambiguous challenges, evaluate options, and develop practical solutions.
  • Commercial Banking Knowledge: Understand commercial banking products, services, and client needs.
  • Strategic Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support growth and business initiatives.
  • Analytical Storytelling: Synthesize data and findings into clear insights, recommendations, and business narratives.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced spreadsheet capabilities for analysis, reporting, and modeling.
  • Organizational Agility: Prioritize competing responsibilities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results Execution: Drive strategic initiatives from concept through implementation while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the members of the Strategy team to develop and support strategic initiatives – develop strategy in partnership with executives (define problem, structure a framework, build recommendations, and a successful path to execution).
  • Coordinate and develop presentation materials and supporting documentation to provide regular status updates on initiatives to Manager and Leadership
  • Analyze internal and external data to provide intelligence and insights to Commercial Leadership
  • Actively participate in, and own, projects and priorities by providing effective reporting, analytic support, and research
  • Analyze project and business results, collect/solicit field feedback and provide thoughts on potential areas for improvement
  • Establish and maintain effective/collaborative working relationships among team members, partners, and support areas
  • Exhibit exceptional project management and organizational skills, collaborating closely with stakeholders and leaders to ensure key initiatives are prioritized, well-coordinated, and delivered on time

Benefits

  • Base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually
  • Eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives
