Sr. Analyst - Business Intelligence
About The Position
The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision making across the organization by designing, building, and maintaining scalable business intelligence solutions. This role partners closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and Transformation teams to deliver trusted reporting, advanced analytics, and curated datasets that power strategic decision‑making and AI‑driven insights. The Sr. BI Analyst owns the end‑to‑end execution and maintenance of executive reporting content, including Looker dashboards and KPI decks, and is expected to operate independently on complex, high‑visibility initiatives. This position emphasizes executive storytelling, data modeling, stakeholder enablement, and enterprise BI best practices while supporting both tactical ad‑hoc analysis and long‑term strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 6–9+ years of BI or analytics experience
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Strong experience with Looker or similar BI tools
- Executive-level communication and data storytelling skills
Responsibilities
- Own execution and maintenance of executive reporting content including BI Visualization Dashboards and KPI decks
- Support CEO, CFO, and Finance Leadership ad-hoc analysis and executive data requests
- Partner with other Finance Analytical teams to identify opportunities and work with the appropriate operation leaders to drive improvement.
- Help build and maintain curated datasets and semantic layers for AI insights and advanced analytics
- Support new data integrations in partnership with engineering and analytics teams
- Design scalable BI dashboards and enable self-service analytics
- Drive the development and automation of key business metrics and KPIs.
- Define and enforce BI best practices, KPI standards, and data governance
- Lead strategic analysis initiatives to support long-term business planning and decision-making.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses and develop strategic recommendations using data-driven insights.
- Develop business cases, including financial modeling and ROI analysis, to support strategic initiatives.
