About The Position
The Sr Analyst, Business Analytics plays a critical role in driving data‑informed decision making by analyzing trends, developing automated analytics solutions, and delivering actionable insights that improve business performance. This role partners closely with operational, compliance, and leadership stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement across enterprise initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or reporting roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience performing root cause analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting healthcare, provider data, or regulated environments
- Experience with automation, data validation, or process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with governance, audit, or compliance‑driven analytics
- SQL or other data query experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across business operations
- Monitor and report on data quality, performance metrics, and key indicators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform root cause analysis and develop data‑driven recommendations to address performance gaps
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards for leadership and operational teams
- Develop and enhance automated data validation and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and consistency
- Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to translate requirements into analytical solutions
- Support state‑specific and line‑of‑business initiatives with targeted analytics and insights
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and controls to support auditability and governance expectations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics standards, tools, and best practices
