We are seeking a skilled Sr. AM Programmer to join our team. As an Additive Manufacturing Programmer, your role involves evaluating customer data to ensure manufacturability for specific technologies, producing build files, and supporting machine operations. You'll collaborate with project engineering, quality, and finishing teams to address process variations and manufacturing challenges. Key responsibilities include maintaining good manufacturing practices, document control, and creating manufacturing travelers. Additional duties may involve backup machine operation, updating workflow system statuses, monitoring machine/material performance KPIs, and general floor maintenance. As a Sr. Additive Manufacturing Technician/Programmer, you will oversee daily department operations, manage schedules, and ensure machine performance. You will handle high-requirement tasks and collaborate with department leads and maintenance teams to optimize machine utilization and throughput. Additional responsibilities include continuous process improvement, monitoring machine/material performance, and working with engineering on process enhancements.

Requirements

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Advance math skills and above average understanding of geometry
In depth knowledge of manufacturing technology
Knowledge in machine operating hardware and software
4+ years of previous work experience with additive machines
Ability to work well with others occasionally leading projects
Ability to work independently on more complex jobs

Nice To Haves

Experience in CAD programs is preferred
Proficiency with Solid View and Magics
Some understanding of plastic properties
Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment
Keeps working area clean at all times
Ability to work overtime and weekends a plus

Responsibilities

Organize and prepare incoming workload and set appropriate PE/PA and customer expectations for scheduling and quality
Review Work Instructions for product information and special needs
Analyze and repair customer files in Solid View and Magics to assess manufacturability
Responsible for compliance with all required specifications for each job and their special needs
Responsible for travelers to be analyzed per job requirement
Communicate and coordinate with other departments as it pertains to special instructions, part quality, and scheduling
Communicate and coordinate with operators as it pertains to scheduling, part quality, and special instructions
Escalate when problems in build arise, may troubleshoot minor issues with operators
Responsible for compliance to all Quality Systems Management
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Attend all required company training
