About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and managing cloud-native and third-party tooling and AI-on-cloud technologies for internal use. You will design and architect world-class technical solutions leveraging state-of-the-art cloud technologies and development tools. A key part of this role involves setting and upholding high standards for technical architectures, systems design, and operational excellence across our internal AI platform. You will create innovative solutions utilizing AI and LLM technologies to solve complex internal business problems, from automating manual workflows to surfacing insights for decision-makers. Additionally, you will develop reusable solution components, internal services, and comprehensive documentation. You will collaborate with software developers, application architects, QA engineers, and operations teams to exceed the expectations of our internal business partners. You will also team up with SMEs, practice leads, and vendors to fine-tune our internal AI strategy and overcome obstacles to adoption. You will evangelize new concepts and technologies, tailoring insights to internal audiences and working directly with business teams to explore their needs and provide a compelling vision forward. As a team member, you will be a core participant in implementations for our internal business groups and in the R&D of our internal AI IP and platform capabilities. You will engage with business stakeholders and leaders across the company to identify, shape, and prioritize internal AI initiatives that drive employee productivity and business outcomes.

Requirements

A comprehensive understanding and experience with Agile methodologies applied to AI and Software Engineering.
Proficient in Python and frameworks such as Flask, langchain, llamaindex, and FastAPI.
Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and working with open-source LLMs.
Experience building Gen AI applications.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, focusing on Azure API management.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab Actions).
Knowledge of containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure.
Experience with Microsoft PromptFlow or RAGs evaluation matrix.
Expertise in writing and tuning prompts for LLMs.
Experience with indexing/chunking strategies for RAG applications.
Work with search solutions (Azure AI Search).
Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps including automation with IaC (e.g., using Terraform).
Comfort partnering directly with non-technical business stakeholders to translate internal needs into technical solutions.
6+ years of experience in a technical capacity.
Cloud certifications, preferably across 2 clouds or more (AWS, Azure, Google).
A basic certification in AI (AI900) or ML (GCP ML Engineer, AWS ML Engineer).
Ability to grasp high-level technical concepts quickly.

Working with software developers, application architects, QA engineers, and operations teams to deliver on — and exceed — the expectations of our internal business partners.
Team up with SMEs, practice leads and vendors to fine tune our internal AI strategy and overcome obstacles to adoption at every step.
Tailor insights to your internal audience, working directly with business teams across Softchoice to explore their needs and provide a compelling vision forward.
