About The Position

Fieldpiece is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to turn AI into practical solutions that improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy across the organization. As the company’s first dedicated AI engineering hire, this person will help shape how AI and automation are used across business teams, partnering with functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Experience, and IT. The role is based in the Park City, Utah office, with a planned move to Heber City, Utah, in 2027. It follows a hybrid schedule, typically with three onsite days per week; additional office days may be needed for onboarding, training, meetings, collaboration, or other business needs. The engineer will work directly with teams to understand their processes, identify opportunities, translate business needs into technical requirements, and build, deploy, and improve production-ready solutions. Projects may include workflow automation, AI agents, company knowledge access, enterprise-system integrations, and decision-support applications. The role is technology agnostic, though experience with Microsoft tools and platforms is valuable in Fieldpiece’s environment. Fieldpiece is a privately held global provider of professional HVACR tools and test instruments. The company describes its focus as long-term investment in its people, products, technology, and future, and emphasizes innovation, continuous improvement, collaboration, and career development.
