Here, innovation thrives, ideas are celebrated and people come first, no matter where they call home. Every month, HighLevel enables more than 1.5 billion messages, 200 million leads and 20 million conversations for the more than 1 million businesses we support. Behind those numbers are real people building independence, expanding opportunity and creating measurable impact. We’re proud to be a part of that. At most companies, affiliates are a channel. At HighLevel, they're the business. Our affiliate program drives the growth of the company, and getting them paid correctly and on time is not just a back-office function. It's a trust function. You are the person who owns that. You'll run affiliate commissions and contractual payments end to end, across our entire affiliate base. Whether you’re triaging an issue, proactively analyzing the data, or walking a frustrated affiliate through why their commissions went up or down month over month, you are able to process data quickly and have confident, empathetic conversations with stakeholders. You're confident being the go-to when affiliates have a question about their money, and you ensure the right amounts get sent out the door. This is a build role. You’ll collaborate closely with the current affiliate, endorsement, commission, revenue operations, data, and legal teams, and you'll create the standard and processes that the growing team runs on for years to come.

Requirements

  • Strong bias-to action and accountability. You have extensive experience running a commission cycle end to end
  • Genuine comfort in customer-facing conversations, including hard ones about money, delays, prorations, and clawbacks.
  • The ability to explain a complicated finance situation in plain language to a stakeholder or an affiliate who does not work in finance.
  • Strong analytical judgment. You can review a full commission report, spot what's wrong, trace it to a root cause, and drive it to resolution before the payout cutoff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear yet concise instructions and documentation.
  • High integrity with confidential financial information
  • 5+ years of related experience in commissions, partner or affiliate payouts, revenue operations, billing, or finance operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with payment or vendor management platforms such as RAMP, Bill.com, Tipalti, or similar.

Nice To Haves

  • Affiliate or partner program experience, particularly in SaaS.
  • Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms such as FirstPromoter.
  • Exposure to FTC endorsement rules or partner program compliance.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audit on a payment or commission cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full payment lifecycle from signed agreement through payout, for commissions and contractual payments across our entire affiliate base
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for affiliates on anything commission or endorsement contract related. Be confident taking video calls, face calls, text messages, e-mails, etc., to be able to meet the affiliates where they are at
  • Build trust with affiliates who have questions or frustrations and have strong follow-through on ensuring audits, follow-ups, and new processes are implemented
  • Partner with Affiliate Managers to verify deliverable completion ahead of each cycle
  • Provide final sign-off on payment accuracy. You'll partner with your Revenue Operations counterpart on calculations and data extraction
  • Own payout disputes, clawbacks, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, and self-referrals end to end, and resolve them directly with the affiliate.
  • Apply HighLevel's affiliate program policies and agreement terms to payment decisions, and collaborate with affiliate compliance teams when needed
  • Build this into a documented, repeatable process that is not dependent on any one person; write the SOPs, the exception policy, and the calculation methodology, and automate the manual work over time.
  • Work cross-functionally with Affiliate, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal to maintain one source of truth everyone operates from and continuous improvement to the overall process.
