Sr Advanced Test Engineer
About The Position
As a Sr. Flight Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for leading and conducting flight tests to evaluate the performance and capabilities of aircraft systems and components. Your role will involve developing and executing complex test plans and procedures, designing test systems on experimental test aircraft, and working closely with Maintenance Technicians to install test equipment. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the advancement of aviation technology and safety.
Requirements
- Experience in flight testing.
- Ability to develop and execute complex test plans and procedures.
- Experience designing test systems on experimental test aircraft.
- Experience working with Maintenance Technicians to install test equipment.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
