As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within our TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team, you will play a critical role in creating advanced systems that will meet the long-term evolving needs of the Aviation industry. Your systems engineering expertise will not only impact on the successful delivery of cutting-edge Avionics solutions but also contribute to the broader mission of enhancing global aviation travel, navigation and safety. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Systems Design - Develop system architectures that align with product goals while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards.
  • Model-based Development System Design - Utilize model-based design methodologies to enhance system design, improve communication among teams, and streamline the development process.
  • Requirements Analysis / Decomposition - Analyze stakeholder requirements, breaking them down into technical specifications that guide the design and development processes.
  • Systems Integration, Systems Validation & Verification.
  • Customer Interaction.
  • Project Oversight / Coordination.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering practices, TCAS, and airborne Avionics technologies.
