About The Position

As a Sr Advanced Salesforce Software Engineer within Honeywell’s Life Sciences organization, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing Salesforce-based solutions supporting our TrackWise Quality platforms. You will design, develop, and optimize features using Salesforce Apex, contribute to solution architecture, and help scale platform capabilities that serve life sciences and other regulated industries. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work out of our Hamilton, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and QA teams within an Agile environment, delivering secure, compliant, and high-performance software. In this role, you will also help guide technical direction, mentor junior developers, and contribute to broader platform modernization efforts across Honeywell Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, reusable components and managed packages for ISV distribution.
  • Delivering Salesforce packages and solutions to customers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications and components using Salesforce Apex and Data Cloud.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for new Salesforce-based features and integrations.
  • Integrate Salesforce functionalities with backend systems, APIs, and data services where applicable.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and ship high-quality releases.
  • Support CI/CD workflows, automation processes, and version control best practices using GitHub.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues, driving root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes, performance, and system scalability.
