Sr Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer
About The Position
Outstanding opportunity for a mechanical engineer with Gas Turbine experience interested in joining the Legacy Engines, APU & Adv Tech Turbine group. The scope of the work will include performing, and providing technical expertise on cooled and uncooled turbine components design and analysis, support turbine hardware fabrication, support engine testing, data reduction and validation of analysis models. In addition, the candidate would participate in teams which support internally and externally funded research programs with the emphasis of improving Turbine stress and lifing capabilities. The candidate would participate in teams to resolve complex engineering problems and have an effective listening skills and flexibility in approach to resolve complex engineering problems. You will contribute to proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes.
