About The Position

As a Senior Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and sustainment of cutting-edge navigation and sensor solutions for a variety of applications. Your experience as a Mechanical Engineer will ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance mechanical designs. You will report directly to our Mechanical Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a Hybrid (3+ on-site) work schedule. External hires will begin with 90 days on site before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule. In this role, you will be critical in the mechanical design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable navigation and sensor products. Your responsibilities will include the mechanical design and drafting of our navigation and sensor products using CREO Parametric. You will also conduct Finite Element Analysis to validate designs, performing thermal and structural analysis to optimize product performance using NX Simcenter. You will also support test and production to ensure the timely resolution of issues to deliver product on schedule. Finally, you will also support the technical development of team through mentorship and coaching.

Requirements

• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Proficiency in CREO Parametric.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis.
• Experience with thermal and structural analysis using NX Simcenter.
