Requirements

Responsibilities

Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and insurance referral source to obtain necessary information and schedule appointments.
Ensuring all referral paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Scheduling patient appointments with specialist providers.
Work with internal departments and external healthcare providers to ensure timely completion of referrals.
Identifying and resolving any issues or delays in the referral process.
Maintain a comprehensive database of referral records, including tracking and updating the status of each referral.
Identifies areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Registration of forensic patients upon scheduling.
Daily chart checking.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the referral process.
Performs other duties as assigned.
