SUMMARY: This position is responsible for coordinating with customers to schedule appointments on outbound, domestic, and international truck freight, that consist of one or more stops to deliver products in the most cost and time effective manner using email, phone, fax, and web-based applications while maintaining customers scheduling, which include: phone numbers, specific contacts, and receiving hours of operation. Required scheduling processes includes communicating with sales, customer service teams, Tyson warehouses, shipping facilities, company fleet, and the outside Transportation departments. This position would be assisting in resolving scheduling and delivery issues with customers and other duties as assigned. This position must be able to work within a cross- functional team to ensure the needs of both internal and external customers are met. This position will need to be able to work independently to make some decisions with regards to the routing and scheduling of shipments.
