The Corporate Distribution Manager ensures Makeready properties are accurately represented and effectively sold across all applicable distribution channels and systems in alignment with brand standards and revenue goals. This role supports revenue growth by maintaining timely, accurate rate and inventory information across multiple platforms while protecting brand integrity and guest experience. The Distribution Manager plays a key role in maximizing hotel performance through three core pillars: new hotel onboarding and transitions, supporting leisure strategies and demand, and strengthening OTA and FIT partnerships. Through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, this position drives visibility, consistency, and revenue optimization across the Makeready collection.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with hotel distribution, revenue, and property systems, including Opera PMS, SynXis CRS, Lighthouse BI (or comparable platforms).
  • Strong working knowledge of channel management, rate and inventory distribution, and system connectivity across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to audit, manage, and troubleshoot rates, room types, restrictions, and availability across systems.
  • Experience analyzing performance and demand data to support distribution and revenue strategy.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously in a fast-paced, portfolio-based corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with IDeaS revenue management system, Demand360, and Delphi (or similar sales and demand intelligence tools).
  • Exposure to group and transient demand management, forecasting, and sales strategy.
  • Experience supporting new hotel openings, brand transitions, or portfolio-wide system rollouts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute distribution strategies that support Makeready’s lifestyle positioning while maximizing revenue, visibility, and profitability.
  • Ensure hotels are accurately represented across all distribution channels in alignment with brand standards, storytelling, and guest experience.
  • Balance direct and third-party channels to support both commercial performance and brand integrity.
  • Manage and optimize channel mix, including brand.com, OTAs, GDS, wholesalers, consortia, and lifestyle-focused partners.
  • Oversee relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring alignment with Makeready’s commercial goals and brand values.
  • Monitor and resolve rate parity issues, inventory discrepancies, and content inconsistencies across all platforms.
  • Oversee distribution-related technology, including CRS, channel managers, PMS integrations, and connectivity partners.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to align distribution strategies with pricing, demand, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze channel performance, cost of acquisition, and conversion metrics to inform smarter distribution decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve channel efficiency, reduce costs, and increase direct contribution.
  • Lead distribution onboarding for new openings, acquisitions, and brand transitions across the Makeready portfolio.
  • Manage timelines, testing, system validation, and connectivity to ensure seamless launches with minimal disruption.
