About The Position

The Department of Perioperative Services is currently recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Chief CRNA, Assistant Chief CRNA, and anesthesia staff. This role involves frequent interaction with hospital executive leadership, requiring a high level of professionalism. The position offers excellent customer service in-person and by phone, ensuring responsive communication with staff, physicians, and the public. Key responsibilities include managing timekeeping for payroll, agency invoicing, and financial reporting for designated areas. The role also involves tracking employee training, licensure, and certification compliance, assisting with office staffing needs, and supporting other staff as needed. Effective communication, relaying information, and resolving issues are crucial. The Senior Administrative Assistant will handle multiple administrative tasks including calendar support, supply management, data entry, and coordination with other departments. Additionally, the role requires attending and supporting meetings, including taking and distributing minutes. This position is 100% on-site at Clements University Hospital, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years to 5 years related experience or combination of education and skills and basic writing ability and accurate spelling.
  • May consider higher education completed in lieu of minimum requirements.
