This position is contingent upon contract award. The Sr Acquisition Specialist - SME will be responsible for developing Acquisition Requirement Packages and contract strategies, establishing contract milestones in coordination with the requiring activity and the Army Contracting Command (ACC), and document writing during the Integrated Product Team process. The role involves participating in various milestone and programmatic reviews, acting as a liaison between PMs and ACC, and performing risk analysis on contracting milestones. The specialist will provide subject matter expertise on the impacts of new contracting regulations/guidance and initiate acquisition strategies and plans. Additionally, the role includes developing, maintaining, and tracking acquisition program baseline documents, and initiating long-range plans and program accomplishments relating to program objectives, considering budgetary, schedule, or technical constraints. Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and acquisition streamlining reform initiatives is required.
