About The Position

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our Finance team. This full-time position is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the location by ensuring accurate financial reporting, payroll administration, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Previous hospitality, food and beverage, retail, stadium, arena, or entertainment industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with accounting, payroll, and financial management systems preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to support business operations, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Manage payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Review and validate sales reports, financial statements, and operational data prior to distribution.
  • Compile financial reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper retention of accounting documentation.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and financial performance initiatives.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  • Complete assigned financial objectives and perform additional duties as assigned.
