Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3+ years of experience in Accounting
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and web-based tools
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must have the ability and be willing to travel, as required, for job-related functions

Responsibilities

Accurately maintaining proper accounts to ensure financial records and procedures are up to date.
Preparation of journal entries
Manage, capitalize, transfer, and deplete Fixed Assets as needed
Perform period-end General Ledger account reconciliation, including research and correction of any discrepancies
Analyze leases for proper accounting, including adding them to the lease module with proper terms and managing them as needed
Ability to perform Ad hoc reporting
Promptly and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers and auditors
Other job duties as assigned
