About The Position

The Sr Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, researching, and adjusting financial statements for management presentation. This role involves creating relevant work papers, schedules, and reconciliations, as well as reviewing and comprehending financial indicators, results of operations, significant operational statistics, and variances from budget and historical results. The Sr Accountant will also research technical accounting and financial reporting issues and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects. This position supports the preparation and coordination of year-end audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 1 year Accounting or Finance experience
• Strong Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
• Public Accounting experience strongly preferred
• Previous Healthcare experience preferred
