Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
4+ years of financial accounting experience.
4+ years of experience accounting for payroll, payroll-related accruals, employee compensation programs, and payroll reconciliations.
Experience supporting business partners across corporate functions and providing financial analysis and reporting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting U.S. and Canada payroll processes is preferred.
Proficiency in Oracle and other financial reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely completion of accounting close process responsibilities.
Serve as the General Ledger Accounting, Reporting, and Finance Business Partner for: Corporate (including M&A, restructuring, and bonus programs), Compliance & Risk, Legal, CFO Organization, People Organization, Corporate Strategy & Development, U.S. and Canada Payroll, Benefits.
Analyze complex financial transactions and reporting activities, including accounting reserves, asset capitalization, and expense recognition.
Prepare, review, and certify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting records.
Prepare account reconciliations and roll-forwards and ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.
Provide financial reporting, analysis, and accounting guidance to management and business partners.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and implement process improvements.
Participate in and support accounting projects, including system implementations, new business initiatives, and accounting standard changes.
Function as an accounting liaison and may provide guidance and direction to less experienced accounting staff.
Assist with internal and external financial statement audits, SOX compliance activities, and other control audits.
