Sr Accountant, Technical Accounting (Contract)
About The Position
As a Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting within CooperCompanies Finance department, reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting, this, position is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and passionate team while developing strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management. It is a highly visible role that frequently interacts with executive management as part of managing the financial reporting process. In addition to developing and maintaining accounting policies, you assist in the preparation of all external financial reporting, including the 10-K’s/10-Q’s, earnings releases and proxy statement filings, and the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting. Occasionally, you perform preliminary technical accounting research for ad-hoc requests.
