About The Position

Sunoco LP is looking for a Senior Pipeline Billing and Revenue Analyst to join our Operational Accounting team. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes The Pipeline Billing and Revenue Operational Accounting team manages inventory, revenue and costs arising from the transportation of crude and refined products through Sunoco's pipelines and connected terminals. It also supports FERC reporting and Revenue Footnote disclosures, offers internal guidance to Commercial Teams for drafting agreements and evaluating the accounting implications of different actions, and provides external customer support by addressing billing inquiries. The essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all margin activities are captured accurately in the general ledger.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-8 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Excel required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, Synthesis, or TopTech a plus
  • Experience with Power BI or Alteryx preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily processes for pipeline ticket entry and customer billing
  • Ensures that all customer billing is on time and accurate
  • Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency
  • Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems
