About The Position

The Sr Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the Company’s SEC filings, lead the month-end close process for several technical accounting areas, perform accounting research and documentation of technical or complex accounting matters, implement accounting policies, and monitor, assess, and document the impact of new or revised account standards. The role will partner closely with the Corporate Finance leadership team, FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements including financial statement disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and supplemental support for external auditors
  • Preparation of all SEC filings, press releases, analyst presentations and various internal presentations and external investor materials
  • Preparation of the monthly stock-based compensation, pension, AIP, restructuring, and equity method investment journal entries and analysis and prepare non-GAAP reporting calculations and analysis
  • Participate in the Company’s technical accounting research and memorandums on significant or unusual transactions, adoption of new or revised accounting standards, and implementation of accounting policies
  • Require direct interaction with internal and external auditors for financial reporting and technical accounting areas of responsibility
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls relating to financial reporting
  • Oversight and maintenance of the Company’s financial reporting software and XBRL compliance
  • Assist in financial due diligence of acquired companies and financial integration efforts post-acquisition including data migration, valuation procedures and purchase accounting
  • Work directly with the Senior Manager, External Reporting and Technical Accounting, Senior Manager, External Reporting & Technical Accounting, and VP, Global Controller on various projects as directed on various technical accounting projects
  • Assist in ad-hoc request as needed in coordination with FP&A, Treasury and Tax functions
  • Expectation to propose and implement process efficiencies and improvements
