About The Position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle/SQL Server, packages/functions/Triggers, query optimization, data conversion, agile methodologies, MDM, and data modeling using tools like Erwin/ER Studio. This role involves providing technical leadership to the application development team, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure technical designs meet business requirements, and offering technical guidance to other developers. The programmer will also participate in analytical assignments for application enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation, as well as preparing technology roadmaps. Responsibilities include supporting development projects with data and process modeling, performing database design across multiple platforms, developing software design documents, and ensuring application architecture aligns with business needs. The role requires excellent knowledge of logical and physical database modeling in Oracle and SQL Server, experience in tuning SQL queries and scripts, integrating software components, and developing prototypes. Familiarity with flowcharts, screen layouts, and documentation for logical system flow is also expected, along with experience on large agile projects and fine-tuning data models for performance. Good knowledge of metadata management is required.

12+ years designing and review of logical and physical data model in SQL and/or PL/SQL
10+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience
10+ years of experience in writing SQL packages/functions/Triggers and Mass data updates and deletes.
8 + year of experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
5+ years of experience in data conversion between multiple systems and experience in data transformation strategies.
Excellent knowledge in designing both logical and physical database model in Oracle and SQL server
Experience preparing technology roadmap for supported applications
Hands on experience Integrating software components into a fully functional software system
Experience developing, prototypes, mockup for users review and approval.
Exposure to flowcharts, screen layouts and documentation to ensure logical flow of the system requirements
Experience working on large agile projects.
Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the application development team, which includes designing, developing, and supporting complex applications.
Collaborate with the business area to ensure the technical design of the application meets the business requirements.
Provide technical guidance to the other developers in the department.
Participate in a variety of analytical assignments for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects.
Prepare technology roadmap for the supported applications.
Support new and existing development projects with data and process modeling activities.
Provide entity, logical and physical data models.
Perform database design across multiple platforms.
Develop software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval.
Collaborate with stakeholder to ensure application architecture is in alignment with business requirement.
Tune SQL queries, scripts and troubleshoots issues using SQL, PL/SQL scripts.
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
Develop, prototypes, mockup for users review and approval.
Ensure logical flow of the system requirements through flowcharts, screen layouts and documentation.
Fine-tune data model to achieve consistent performance.
