About The Position
VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is seeking independent contract agreement with Cargo Van and Sprinter Van owner-operators. We offer competitive and negotiable rates. This role is for owner-operators only, as we do not hire company drivers. Applicants will enter into a written independent contractor agreement.
Requirements
- Own Sprinter or Cargo Van.
- US citizen, resident, green card, or work authorization holder.
- At least 21 years of age (for owner-operator and any drivers).
- Speak, understand, and read basic English (for owner-operator and any drivers).
- Sprinter van should not be older than 2016.
- Minimum of 4 straps and PPE in the vehicle.
- All decals must be removed from the vehicle.
- Vehicle modifications must be reported to the company before use.
- Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
- 6 months of driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Accept loads from VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER after being approved, accepted, and registered.
- Operate a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
- Ensure vehicle has a minimum of 4 straps and PPE.
- Remove all vehicle decals.
- Inform the company of any vehicle modifications before operating the vehicle on the road.
- Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
