About The Position

ODYSSEIA Inc. is seeking independent contractors with Sprinter Vans and Cargo Vans to join their team. They are also looking for drivers with 12-14 ft box trucks (under 10,000 lbs GVW). This is an independent contractor role with opportunities for local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) loads across the US and Canada. The company emphasizes no forced dispatch and no-touch freight, offering a flexible schedule and competitive compensation including detention and layover pay.

Requirements

Own a 2016 or newer Cargo Van or Sprinter (rental vehicles are not permitted).
Minimum cargo space of 120 x 50 x 50 inches (L x W x H).
No MC/No authority required.
Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
Valid driving record.
No decals, stickers, or logos on the van.
Willingness to install tracking apps (Macropoint, Trucker Tools).
Ability to meet insurance requirements: $1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability and $100,000 Motor Truck Cargo (max $1,000 deductible).

Responsibilities

Operate a Sprinter Van or Cargo Van (2016 or newer, no rental vehicles) for freight transportation.
Ensure the vehicle has a minimum cargo space of 120 x 50 x 50 inches (L x W x H).
Comply with all insurance requirements: $1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability and $100,000 Motor Truck Cargo (max $1,000 deductible).
Install and utilize tracking apps (Macropoint, Trucker Tools).
Maintain a clean vehicle with no decals, stickers, or logos.
Accept and transport freight across the US & Canada for local, regional, and OTR runs.
Adhere to the terms of a non-exclusive Independent Contractor Agreement.
