About The Position

ODYSSEIA Inc. is an established carrier company seeking Sprinter Van & Cargo Van independent drivers to cooperate under an Independent Contractor Agreement. We are also looking for 12–14 ft box trucks (under 10,000 lbs GVW).

Requirements

• Must own a 2016+ Cargo Van or Sprinter (NO rental vehicles).
• Minimum cargo space: 120 x 50 x 50 inches (L x W x H).
• No MC / No authority required.
• 1+ years of driving experience.
• Valid driving record.
• No decals, stickers, or logos on the van.
• Must install tracking apps (Macropoint, Trucker Tools).
• Possess $1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability insurance.
• Possess $100,000 Motor Truck Cargo insurance (max $1,000 deductible).

Responsibilities

• Operate a Sprinter Van or Cargo Van (2016+ model year, NO rental vehicles).
• Ensure minimum cargo space of 120 x 50 x 50 inches (L x W x H).
• Drive without decals, stickers, or logos on the van.
• Install and utilize tracking apps (Macropoint, Trucker Tools).
• Adhere to insurance requirements: $1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability and $100,000 Motor Truck Cargo (max $1,000 deductible).
• Transport freight across the US & Canada for local, regional, and OTR loads.
• Accept non-forced dispatch and no-touch freight.
• Manage flexible scheduling.
• Utilize detention and layover compensation.

Benefits

• $1.20 per loaded mile for local loads
• $0.90–$1.00 per loaded mile for long-haul runs
