About The Position

This role involves installing, servicing, inspecting, and programming commercial fire alarm systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting panels, wiring, and devices in compliance with NFPA 72 and local codes, responding to service calls (which may include some after-hours work), pulling and terminating standard low-voltage cabling, and providing clear documentation and client communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of fire codes and installation best practices
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
  • Comfortable working at heights over 10 feet
  • Able to work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
