This position is for a Sprinkler Service Technician who will be an integral part of a team dedicated to collaborative work and creating purposeful solutions. The technician's primary role involves responding to service calls from the Service Resource Center, diagnosing equipment and system malfunctions, and performing repairs on various types of sprinkler systems. These systems include wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps, serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients. Key responsibilities also encompass following prescribed troubleshooting procedures, consulting technical manuals and other documentation, and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. The role requires strong customer service skills, consistent communication with district staff and customers, electronic completion of service acknowledgements, and participation in a scheduled on-call rotation. The technician must be prepared for travel, including overnight stays, and capable of performing significant physical labor in challenging environments while adhering to strict safety guidelines.
